Tilda will help you grocery shop!!!

Here is Tilda - she will sit on your fridge and help you with your grocery list!!!!

Close up of the top...I put Crystal Effects on her dress & socks to give her some strength.

And an even closer shot of Tilda.

I use rare earth magnets from LEE VALLEY, they are VERY VERY strong magnets - there is nothing worse than having a notepad that slides down your fridge! They are a little more money than regular magnets but they are worth it! My customers love that they are so strong!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Post It Note Keychains

On Nov.1, I will be going to a Christmas Craft Market to try to sell my "wares"...LOL.....so as you know, I've been busy creating things that I think will sell, or that have sold well in the past! You've already seen the Christmas Planners and journals, so here is the next set of things I made.

I made a whole BUNCH of Post It Note keychains, both large (3x3) and smaller ones (2x2). I never did end up taking a picture of the smaller ones, I will try to remember to do that to show you. I made the cover 6 1/2 x 3 1/4, covered with DP (great way to use up your scraps) and added an image. I used my crop-o-dile to punch a hole and attach a clip and a ribbon for a finishing touch. Very simple, very quick!!! Here are a few of the ones I made:

The Princess is from SU (not sure the name of the set - this was an image given to me ages ago) and the donkey is from Alota Rubber Stamps.

The flowers and sentiment are from TAC (The Angel Company) and the bee on the sunflower is from Alota Rubber Stamps.

These make great stocking stuffers or little gifts for gift baskets!!! I have one hanging in my car to jot things down & I have one in my purse & one in my desk at work!!!!

Thanks for taking a peek! Enjoy the rest of the week!!!

Simon Says.....follow a recipe!

This week's challenge over at Simon Says Challenge blog is to follow a recipe: You must use 3 embellishments, 2 papers, and 1 image. Pretty easy compared to last weeks challenge so I hope you will all join in!!! If you head to the blog, you will see the rest of the DT's creations for some inspiration. Here is my card:

My Mom was cleaning out her spoon collection & asked if we wanted any for "sentimental" reasons....well, of course my brain instantly went to "CRAFTS" so I snagged a few of the smaller ones, and a few that had dangley charms that I could take off & use elsewhere. This spoon is one of those that I took. It is really pretty - is needlepoint or something like that inside......and I used it as one of my embellishments! The DP is from Basic Grey - Lime Rickey pad. I coloured Tilda with my Koh-i-noor pencils & Gamsol.

The more I look at this card, the more I think it needs something in that top left corner....I almost wish I had moved the sentiment over a bit & put a flower instead of a little heart brad...what do you think???

This is Tilda with a spoon & it will be available at Simon Says Stamp VERY shortly...she is part of the Yummy in my Tummy collection.....and the entire collection is CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!

I hope you will all join us in this challenge - it gets you TWO ways to win......sometimes more!!!!
1) random drawing at the challenge blog;
2) chance to win my Fabulous Friday Freebie;
3) hidden candy at 1 or more of the DT's blogs

The odds are pretty good in your favour!!! So please join us!!!!! Thanks for stopping by & your comments - I appreciate them more than you know!!!! Enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Yummy in my Tummy collection

Magnolia has just come out with a new collection & it is CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!! Here is a card I made using a few images that were sent to me:

I used Chef Tilda, fork & knife, the sentiment, the pears & the apple images. The kitchen bench is from a different collection. I put Crystal Effects on the knife, fork, apple & pears to give them some dimension & popped them up. I also popped Tilda up on the bench.

These stamps are all available at Simon Says Stamp! Go check out the other cuties they are getting in!!!

Have a great week!

Incy Wincy Designs....Guest Designer spot....

I am so excited to tell you all that I was chosen to be a Guest Designer for Incy Wincy Designs. The challenge was to use this picture as inspiration:

I saw all the fabulous colours, and the balls, and I instantly went to this paper in my Lime Rickey pad by Basic Grey. It is a little "busy" for little Chelsea (Inger Harding Designs) but I loved the colours!!! You can get Chelsea at the Incy Wincy store.

If you aren't sure who or what Incy Wincy Designs are, they are a charity organization out of Australia who's goal is to help a Kindergarten get therapy for learning & physical difficulties and to help improve their current play area! What a GREAT cause, I am proud to represent them & assist them in their goal!!!! Being a teacher, I KNOW how difficult it is to get & how expensive extra care is for children. Kudos to you all!!!!! If you get a chance, head over to the store HERE and check out their digital images!!!

I will be Guest Designing on Sept. 21 & Sept. 28 so I would love to see you join the challenges!!!! I get to pick the challenge for the 28th so I have my thinking cap on!!!!!

Thanks to Heather & Greg for everything - you guys are GREAT!!!!!
Hugs,
Chris

A couple journals

Journals with matching pens are a BIG hit at the craft market that I go to every Thurs.night in the Spring & Summer, so I had to make a few more as I was running really low. I sell them for $5, do you think that is too low???

Here are 2 I made last week with some journals I bought at Michael's:

I finally got to ink up my Gorjuss Girls stamp. The paper is from Snowed In by My Mind's Eye - it has snowflakes on it, but it was such a pretty colour I had to use it!!!

This stamp is from High Hopes - I wanted to do a farm theme because inside, the pages are printed with roosters....and I don't have any rooster stamps!!! LOL I hope someone likes this one!!!! This flower paper is also from My Minds Eye, a series called Day Dream Funky Flowers.

Have a great day!!!! I can't believe it is Sunday already!!!! We are off to my niece's birthday party this afternoon! We haven't' seen them in AGES!!!!
