More items for my Craft Sale.......

I found these HUGE clothespins at Dollar Tree in Great Falls last April when I was there. They only had 3 but now I wish I had gone to other stores to see if they had more! These will look really cute on someone's desk!!! Wish we had a Dollar Tree in Canada!! Booo hooo!!!!

And a few altered mini composition books:

I used some images that I had already coloured up, found matching DP & altered the notebooks. Very quick & very easy!!!! AND very functional! I just HOPE they sell!!!! Nov. 1 is coming quickly, I hope I have enough "stuff" to sell!!! EEEK!!!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT week!!!

Simon Says..... Get Well Soon!!!

The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is GET WELL cards or projects. Since I was sick while I was making these I wanted them to be functional, yet cute. I couldn't decide if I wanted a "boy" or a "girl" theme so I made both!!!!
I used Tilda & Edwin bandaged up, seemed fitting! And the sentiment is from Sending Sunshine by Simon Says Stamp. The paper is Soft Suede (SU) and the DP is from SU as well - a paper pack so not sure what colour it is exactly!!!

And here is the functional part: I made a little pocket inside the card so you can add a packet of chicken noodle soup, lozenges, neo citran, advil, etc.

We hope you will join us in this challenge - with the threat of a flu pandemic hitting the world, we could all use a stash of Get Well cards!!! I for one am NOT looking forward to that!!!! I hope it is an "over-reaction" but you never know - better to be safe than sorry!!!! Anyway, hope you are all HEALTHY and happy!!! Can't wait to see your creations!!!! Don't forget you can win a $25 shopping spree at Simon Says Stamp if you enter!!!!

My first EASEL CARDS!!!!

Alright, I jumped in and tried my hand at an easel card. The tutorial I used which was really awesome & easy to follow can be found HERE.

This one is a 4 x4 - first try, it's ok.....a bit small but I didn't want to overwhelm myself with my first one!!! LOL I used Riding hood red CS, the DP is from My Minds Eye, the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, and the hedgies are from a Penny Black clear set called Every Which Way.

After I tried a little one, I wanted to try a bigger one, see if I liked this type of card...well, let me tell you - I LOVED it!!! This one turned out SO awesome, I am very proud of this one! It is going to a friend who just had a baby!!!

Here is the front.......lots of bling and sparkles!!

and the side view to see the easel part, the button that props it up & the sentiment.
And here is the entire card - open in all its glory!! LOL

The flourish stamp is from Lizzie Ann Designs, the bunny and sentiment are from the set Practically Perfect from Verve Stamps & the paper is from My Mind's Eye. I coloured the bunny with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol & sparkled her up with my Sakura jelly roll pen (stardust) and stickles!
Thanks for looking at my very first easel cards - I think I will be making more of these!! They are fun and SO easy!!!!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge # 14

This week's challenge over at Incy Wincy Designs Challenge blog is HALLOWEEN!!!! I LOVE Halloween!!!!

I didn't have any images from the Incy Wincy shop to use for this challenge so I thought I would use a Magnolia stamp - this is an old Halloween image from last year that someone sent me, so I thought I would ink her up for this challenge!! The spider paper, recipe and trick or treat sticker are all from Heidi Grace - it was a huge Halloween pack I won last year!!!

I hope everyone joins us in this challenge this week - I know you are ALL making Halloween cards as I am writing this......so go link it up in the Incy Wincy Challenge!!!! Come on..it won't take long!!!!

Corrosive Challenge.....HALLOWEEN

The challenge this week at Janet's Corrosive Challenge blog is to make a Halloween card or project!! YAhoooooo!!!! Or should I say " BOO!!" LOL

Wheeee, I am getting my fill of Halloween cards but its a GOOD thing since I have SO many to make!!!! I made this card using a tutorial found HERE, and it was FUN!!!! I used the Sweet Treat Cups from Stampin'Up! I ended up making 6 of these! I love that they have a little trap door so they don't ruin the card when they try to get the candies out! By "they" I mean my nieces and nephews - who will be getting these!!!

Here is the little trap door half open!!!! Cute eh? this is the inside front of the card! At the top (cut off in the picture is a little pull tab!!!

I used some paper from the Heidi Grace Halloween pack I got last year - I'm sad that I used up all this cute spider paper (even though I HATE spiders). The ribbon was from my stash & the sentiment was sent to me & I found it in my images tub (it is literally a TUB!!)

Just for fun, I will show you a couple of the others I made - although I'm not as crazy about these as the spider one!!!! LOL But here they are anyway!!!!

I hope you will join us for this challenge!!! Have a great week!!!
