Baby Boy outfit

Hey everyone!!! Right now, I am in the mountains enjoying a lovely weekend with the girls scrapbooking!!!!! Wish you were all here with me!!!!!

Here is a chipboard baby boy outfit card I made that I bought from my LSS - it is from Crafty Secrets. I spritzed the chipboard with Sandstone Glimmer mist first then added some paper. I sanded & sponged the sides then decorated the pockets with a little train I got from Michael's in the Dollar bin (Jolee's). The little hanger is from the LSS store too - it is my last one & I have NO idea where to get more....but isn't it cute???

This is the inside of the card - I left the top circle for a picture or a greeting. I gave this to my SIL to give to her friend who just had a baby boy. Hope they liked it!!!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Fabulous Friday Freebie #15

Congratulations to TRISH at Diamond Doll ..... for winning the 2 bottles of stickles from last week!!! Please email me your address so we can get them out to you!!!! THANKS!!!!

This week, you can win a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive stamp set OF YOUR CHOICE!!!!!

September was FULL of birthdays, I'm glad October and November are a little quieter.....this one is for my niece who LOVES Pandas. This panda is from Oh Happy Day by Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the bamboo 4 times and stacked them on top of each other to make it look 3D. The toothpicks were my attempt to look like chopsticks, or bamboo, or something "Asian" to go with the rest of the cards theme...LOL....
The red & gold paper are scraps that I've had forever & have made a TON of Asian themed cards with .... seems to fit the theme!!!!

I THINK she liked the card - she was too interested in the American $$ she got for their big trip to Disneyland!!!! Everything else was thrown to the side!! LOL But I don't blame her, I'd be excited too!!!!!

All you have to do to win a Simon Says Stamp exclusive set is to enter the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog this week (which is Thanks/Thanksgiving) and leave me a comment here with a link to your card so I can find it easily! AND, you will get a second entry if you add or have my blinkie in your side bar!!!!

THAT'S IT!!!! Easy huh???

Enjoy the weekend!!! I am heading to the mountains for a scrapbooking retreat!!!! Can't wait!!!! I should have some scheduled posts for you so hopefully they work!!!!! ENJOY & have a great weekend!!!

Altered mini notebooks

I got these little notebooks from Michael's awhile ago & decided to alter them to sell at my Craft Sale in Nov. They were in the $1.50 bin & have a little pocket with a pen - so they were pretty easy to alter!!! No pulling off the coils & reattaching them!!! LOL

Thanks for stopping by!! I love & appreciate your comments!!!!! Have a great week!!!

Sweet Wonderful YOU!!!

Another scrapling I made....using a new Tilda from the Lazy Days of Summer collection. I used up the scrap paper for the card base, the DP, the layers and the ribbon!!!

Scraplings are great because they use the long strip that is left over when you make a square card. For example, if you make a 5x5 card, the leftover strip will be 11x3.5....or if you make a 5.25x5.25 card, the leftover strip will be 11x3.25...so, depending on what size of card you make, determines the size of your scrapling!! Cool huh??

Oh hey, my friend Deb & I started a new Yahoo Group - called Late Night Stampers......it is a lot of fun so far with more fun to come!!! It is an "anything goes" group, so you can come and enable us to your favourite stamp companies - we are not limiting the conversation to one stamp company...we want to hear about them ALL!!!!! So, if you'd like to join us, here is the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/latenightstampers/?yguid=328347347

Have a great week!!!!

Corrosive Challenge ..... Anything but a card

This weeks challenge at Janet's Corrosive Challenge Blog is to make Anything but a card!!!! Wellllllll, again, right up my alley!!!!!! Today is my Craft Sale, so I have been VERY busy making "things" to sell at it so this challenge is PERFECT!!!!! I have made a ton of things, most I have shown you already but not these simple little jars. I had 3 of these really cute little jars that I really didn't want to recycle (you never know, right?? I think I might need to be on that Hoarders show!!! LMAO)
I filled the jars with GUMBALLS and decorated them with Magnolia images. I did 1 Tilda and 2 Edwins, and decorated the tops! They are VERY simple but I am hoping that the little kids that are at the sale will see them and BEG their parents for them!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I sell lots & make lots of money to buy new "toys"!!!! I will give you an update tomorrow!!!!
Please join us for this week's challenge!! I'd love to see what you create!!!!
