God's Little Angel

I made this card with God's Little Angel image from Karen's Doodles. I wanted the image to be the focal point so tehre isn't a lot of extra stuff on the card! There is, however, a lot of stickles!! LOL She just HAD to be sparkled up!!! I coloured her with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol. The flowers were misted with Glacier Glimmer mist (available at Simon Says Stamp) & blue rhinestones are in the centers! The papers are Basic Grey (euphoria, I think) and the Card stock is Elegant Eggplant (SU) & the purple ribbon is from a chocolate box (see, I recycle!!)

I am entering this in the Karen's Doodles challenge on the UK Challenge blog. The theme is Anything Goes!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great weekend!!!

Prairie Fairy images...sooo cute!!!

I have 2 cards to show you from Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps. Roberta is a fellow Canadian and a GREAT artist!!! You really need to go to her site and check it out!!!!

This first card is a scrapling (3.5" x 5.5"). I used Pink Passion CS, some scraps of Basic Grey DP and some scrap rikrak. I coloured the bunny with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol.

This second card is a 5x5" square card. I used pink passion CS, and some DP from SU (can't remember the series) and some scrap ribbon. The flowers and rhinestones are from my stash and I just HAD to add Googlie eyes to this cute monster. I also added some Crystal Effects to her nose & teeth for some dimension! Inside it says, "I hope your birthday is monstrously delicious"

Thanks for stopping by!!!! Have a great weekend!!!

A plea to all my blogging buddies....

I have a plea on behalf of Simon Says Challenge - I know it is short notice but I know you can do it!!!!!

This week we reached over 1,000 followers which is absolutely fantastic! Not only that but we also reached over 400 entries for our latest challenge which is Mothers Day/Girly.

My plea is that if you have a Mother's Day card or one which is even slightly girly please, please enter it in our challenge! What are the chances we can get close to 500 entries?? On my last look we had 424 so we are so nearly there!

Not much time left so please, please enter our challenge and help us reach a RECORD number of entries!!!!
Thank you sooooo much !!!

See you back here tomorrow for the new challenge !

With Deepest Sympathy

A couple quick cards, and a quick entry today...sorry!! It's been a bit hairy around here!!! Just finished report cards, finally.....and this puppy is draining my energy & we've had some bad luck in our family the last couple weeks. My cousin (58) passed away 2 weeks ago, then his mother (76), my kinda Aunt (my Mom's cousin but very close to us all, so I call her my Aunt) just passed away a few days ago, and my sisters dog just passed away. It has been a rough month!

The stamps I used for this one are: With Deepest Sympathy and You make the flowers smile - both by Simon Says Stamp

I made these cards awhile ago to have on hand, and it seemed fitting to post them today!
Chris

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - Off to the RACES!!!!

This weeks theme at Incy Wincy Designs is "Off to the Races"....now, this may seem like a strange theme, BUT remember that the Incy Wincy charity is based out of Australia....and a BIG event in March is the Adelaide Cup - HORSE RACING!! See the connection now??? Anything with a horse on it will do!!!!!! :)

This card is made using a digital image from M&M Designz. I made a faux wood background (brown ink dragged across neutral CS, then white ink smudged in lines over top) The brown brads around the horses are fuzzy and the other ones on the sentiment are pewter. This card measures 6x6 & I made it for my sister-in-law who is a BIG horse lover (she has 3 of her own!!)

I hope you will join us at the Incy Wincy Challenge blog this week!!!! Can't wait to see what you have created!!!!!
