Mini 2011 calendar for your purse....

I am frantically trying to get ready for 4 craft sales I have this month! I decided to try this tutorial from Papertrey Ink, for a mini calendar/photo album. When I first started it, I didn't realize how small it would be, but it is perfect for your purse. The photos would have to be small ones though but with today's digital world that isn't hard to do!!!!
So, here is the calendar closed with velcro dots, view from the front:
Here is the calendar open, like an accordian. It all fits right into itself. I put 6 months on one side and 6 months on the other side which left several squares for photos. I just printed the little calendars off the internet for free (PTI has a calendar stamp but it wouldn't get here in time!)

And the front view, close up. I hope the pearl isn't too bulky that it would fall off in someone's purse.......hmmmm, never thought of that!!! GULP!!!!

I will let ya know how it sells!!! LOL Let's all keep our inky fingers crossed that my stuff sells!! All profits will be put into my Australia fund...so lets hope I sell BIG!!!!! LOL Have a great day!!!!

Blackleaf Studios - Step by Step

Hello everyone!!! I am here with Step by Step Thursday to show you how to make quick and simple gift tags using some of the newest and greatest digi images from Blackleaf Studios!!!!

Step 1: Print images (I used the new Holly leaves image) onto white cardstock (I printed 4 on a page so I could punch them out)

Step 2: Using circle punch or Nestabilities, punch out image, making sure you leave space to write on the tag. I used my Mega Circle punch.

Step 3: Punch out circles using Giga Scallop circle punch (or Nestabilities). This is a great way to use up those scraps!!!!

Step 4: Colour image, sponge edges if desired and adhere to scallop circle.

Step 5: Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the top for your ribbon. I used my Crop-o-dile.

Step 6: Attach ribbon. Stamp or handwrite on the tag.

Done!! You have a quick and easy gift tag that is sure to bring a smile to someone's face!!!! Have a great day!!!

Simon Says..... ALL white except the image

Photobucket

This week, the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is ALL WHITE, except for the image!!!! This is always a challenge for me, but I like how this one turned out!!! The stamp is POPCORN BEAR, All Wrapped up from Crafter's Companion. Isn't he adorable???

I used white cardstock & shimmery white cardstock for the layers. I kinda cheated and used silver for the sentiment. The pearls and MS snowflake punch are all purchased at Simon Says Stamp Superstore. The white organza ribbon is from my stash - and sadly this is the last of it!!! Booo hoooo!!! The bear is coloured with Pebbles Chalks and copics. I used Polar White Flower Soft for the fuzzy parts of the bears coat and 3D Glittering Crystal paint on top of the ducks head.

Remember, you can win this:

And if you come back on Friday, you can enter to win MY Friday Freebie giveaway too!!!!! AND check out the rest of the DT blogs too, they have blog candy as well!!!! HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!!!
I am also entering this into the ABC Christmas Challenge!! How fun!!!

Designed2Delight challenge - Laughing Giraffes!!

These cute giraffes were this weeks Freebie if you participated last week at Designed2Delight. Aren't they CUTE??? When I saw them, I knew instantly I wanted to use my heart Nestabilities & make either an Anniversary card or a card for my hubby. I decided to make a card for Tim, so on the inside, it says, I LOVE YOU!

The CS is Rich Razzleberry (SU) and the DP is from my stash. I put the heart shapes through my Cuttlebug for the embossing texture of a giraffe (kinda! LOL) but it also enables me to enter it into the Double Delight Challenge Yahoo!!!!! It's been a few weeks since I entered over there!!!! The gems are from my stash and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a great week so far!!!

Squigglefly challenge

This week over at the Squigglefly blog, the Design team were asked to make a card with a detachable bookmark. Well, I went to this link: Card with a detachable bookmark at SCS, and didn't have the tool required to make the perforations and didn't want to use my piercing tool to make all those holes..ugh! Too much work!!!! LOL So, I used my little Cutter Bee Piercing rotary tool that I got ages ago and never used! It worked perfectly!!! I scored the line in my Scor-Buddy, then in the same track, ran the Cutter Bee to perforate it! Worked like a CHARM!!!!! Now I'm going to make more!!!!!

Here is the front of my card:

And the inside bookmark:

The image is ANTONIO by Winanto Nugroho, available at Squigglefly . Isn't he cute?? I Love this little guy!!!! The DP is from my Christmas stash....I think it is Paper Pizazz but not 100% sure!!! IT is cute though & I'm sad that it is all gone!!!! Head over to the Squigglefly blog to see the rest of the DT's bookmark card creations!!!!
Have a great week!!
