Dress up time!!!

I made this card for my 5 year old niece's birthday next week. I coloured it with my Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol and added lots of stickles!!! What little girl doesn't like glitter??? The image is from High Hopes & the rest of the stuff is from my stash!!!

And a close up of the charm...still not a great picture, but it says "Hand Made with Love"

Simon Says......Vintage

This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is VINTAGE! Something I'm not very good at, but I keep trying!!!! LOL

This week, the design team are showcasing Prima Flowers as well, so you will see a HUGE variety of uses for them when you go check them all out!!!! Simon Says Stamp Superstore has THE BIGGEST selection of Primas that I have seen anywhere!!!! So, head to the store, & check it out!!!!! Your entry doesn't have to have Prima's in it.....just VINTAGE!!!! I also got the rhinestones and Magnolia stamp from Simon Says!!! When I say they have EVERYTHING, I mean it!!!! lol

Have a ROCKIN' birthday

Here is a card I made using one of the new Dustin Pike images from Valentines Day-ish! I thought he was really cute for anytime of the year!!!!! Very simple layout, nothing fancy besides buttons and a bit of crystal effects on the guitar!!! The sentiment is made on the computer!!!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - Touchy Feely!!! SNEAK PEEK and BLOG HOP!!!!!

This weeks challenge is to get TOUCHY FEELY!!! LOL Ok, just kidding.....well, not really!!! Put some TEXTURE on your project!!! Here is my card for this weeks challenge:

I used the dinosaur from Incy Wincy Designs and a sentiment stamp I've had for a long time from Whipper Snapper (I think!) The background is a part of a larger background stamp from Magnolia, which I got from Simon Says Stamp! Inside it just says Happy Birthday!

The first texture is the cuttlebug background (Mesh) and sponged with ink, and then the buttons too are texture I guess eh??

This is what I'm most proud of!!!!

My texture on the dinosaur is Liquid Applique (grey), that I brayered on the dinosaur then heated with my heat gun, I wanted it smooth - not totally puffy like goopy LA does. BUT, I didn't want it all to be smooth so I added a bit more where he might be "scaley", and when it puffed up, I just flattened it a bit with my finger to give it a "warty" look - LOL - How is that for TECHNICAL lingo???

Corrosive Challenge Blog - Things with Wings

This weeks challenge on The Corrosive Challenge Blog is THINGS WITH WINGS!!!! Fun, and SO many options!!! With all the GREAT fairy images out there, and bugs, butterflies, birds...the options are ENDLESS!!!! I decided to use a dragon from Dustin Pike - such a cute lil dragon!!!!! It is a simple layout on a 5x5 card base because I printed the dragon out a bit big! I sponged the sky around him & added stickles to his horns, spots and belly!! The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive set called "A little birdie told me" - found HERE!!!!
